I´m thinking about starting blogging again! Haven´t done it for ages! Don´t really know if I´m having the time for it, but whatever - lets try it at least!

It´s funny to go threw this old blog and read what I have been writing about for ages ago!

Anyway.... I just got one of my illustrations posted on one of Norways biggest bloggers, which I am quit happy about!

Part from that, I am now an aupair in Germany. Been living here the last year, looking after a real sweetheart named Fabio which is aged 1,5 soon! The time has gone so fast by!!

I am learning german in a university with my bestfriend here in Germany, she is from New Zealand! Hopefully in end of january I can speak GREAT german, hoho, thats my intention!

I´m sorry if my english is really sucky at time, I am so confused about speaking 3 languages, and sometimes the words just gets real mixed up!! Oh, hard life..

My hostfamily was so nice that they let me get a puppy! I missed my pussycatty Simba so much, that I needed someone, haha.. So know I am having my sweetest dearest Romeo, which is around 4 months old now!

He is a big biter! Takes my trash out, pulls my scarfs down from the wall and makes my bedroom a big mess - but I love him anyway, because he is the sweetest doggie you could imagen! :-)

So, lets see how long it will take me before I keep you updated on my new life in Germany! Tonight I´m going to Keller Klub with Dino & Rachie! Some dj´s from London are supposed to be coming? Sounds great! :D

After I took my first tattoo - "Viva la Vida", I'm like in love with tattoos! I want one hear and there.. but I now where the line goes, and for me (at this time) it's only going as long as the "illustration" picure I made her downunder;

You may probelly think it looks a littlebit odd, but all these signs/drawings have a meaning for me. Maybe not the Roman numbers are sooo special, but I have allways loved Roman numbers + it's my date of birth.. At least, if I got it right this time ;)

It's just a "picture" of what I "have-in-mind"..

Yes, you heard me! This is one of my best mascaras.

It lenghtens my lashes and make them ultra long! I never get black underneeth my eyes, even if it's raining, hot, running or swimming in the sea! I wonder how this mascara would be if it was waterproof!

The price is a little bit expensive - spescially in my country, but + for the simple design.

Absolute the best mascara I have tried.

This BEAUTIFUL dress, is so pretty! The dress is from Meghan Fabulous, and is called The Ryan Dress. The colours, the pattern, the design.... perfect! As you probelly have noticed by now, I absolutly love butterflies. (When I paint something, I almost everytime paint butterflies)

The price is unfortantly to high for me, but if you somehow have 1350 dollars to much in your bank account- you could allways make one of my dreams come true for my birthday on friday ;-)

My school project in colour contrast - interior design

Every thursday at my school, we have a subject called project in interior.. We have to make our own tasks. This time I wanted to make a task where I learned a littlebit more about colours and contrasts.

I have sticked together pictures from google + using Photoshop to change the colours/shape ++.

It's not the best, but here is my resulte:

3 easy hair styles for spring/summer-09

I am sure a lot of you are wondering what hairstyles are popular this spring/summer? I am too! So I have been searching around for some inspiration pictures, just to get an ide of what's coming up!

My hair is damadged from trying to become a blond, so now I really should need a new haircut! Today I am thinking of going to the hairdresses to colour my grownout hair.. It's not looking really nice at the moment!

So, here is your hair inspiration! I hope one or two of the hairstyles will give you an inspiration for your own hair!

Floral hair decoration

Straight, curled, short or long - floral decoration on your hair is beautiful. It will bring you hair, face and clothes to life!

Tip:
You can buy cheap hairclips with exotic flowers and colours at for example, H&M.

Super straight hair

You will need a hair straightner and a good heat protector for your hair! There are a lot of great products to choose between, ask your hairdresser or someone at the Drugstore for recommandation!

Tip:
For leaving all you flyaways away + adding shine, I would say you should deffently try Biosilk!
Rub your hands together with a very small amount, and go trew your hair with it. This will keep flyaways away and make your hair smooth and silky straight!

Do not put serum in your roots, this will make it look greasy and that's not really the style you are going for.. I'm sorry to say, but to much of the good stuff will do the same. (But again, you will have your bottle for ages!!)

The center hair parts with body and bounce

Perfect for the natural look, bohem, school, beach +

This is the new straighten hair look, it's really simple to do! Section your hair at the middle and hair strengthen it. After straightening it, focus on creating some movement from the mid-lengst to the end with the straightner.

The perfect mix between wearing your hair back from your face but still wearing it “out.”

This hairstyle is popular because it shows off your neck - without necessarily showing off your ears.

Orginization is the best way to get a tidy wardrobe. There are a lot of great ideas for making a organized wardrobe, Ikea has one of them!

This is a great organized wardrobe from Ikea. You can buy the wardrobe in pieces, so you get the perfect storage for your clothes, shoes and accessories.

There are a lot of different ways you can get your wardrobe organised. You don't have to buy a new wardrobe(!). I hope some of this tips will help you on the way!

Drawers
A great ide for putting your accessories;
belts, scarfs, braclets, hairbands or maybe socks and singlets!

Hangers
You can easly find a simple wardrobe, that's only a hanger. The only one I can think of that's international, is from Ikea. With this kind of hanger you can hang all your pretty dresses, skirts, jackets and shirts on. It is also great for hanging your jeans and belts on!

Boxes
A great idea to put all your small thing in! You can do like me - put your underwear and all small accessories in them.
Instead of having all your shoes haning around in the house, you can save the shoebox when you buy yourself a new pair of shoes.. Rapp nice giftpaper around the shoebox, and take a picture of the shoes and glue it the front. This way you will have all your shoes organised!

Tips;
Make your own personal hanger! Buy wood-hangers and paint them in which colour you like. Glue on stickers, glitter or diamonds for a more elegant look. Tie a silk ribbon around the hanger and volà - you have your own homemade hanger!

Later, I will tell you how you can get your earrings organised! It's creative, can be used as a picture on the wall (I won't tell you more yet!).

It's perfect for spring/summer, because you can dress it up to so many different styles. With a warm cardigans for chilly weather, or a shorts for summer and parties!

Hair permanent - curls

Sometimes, curly hair can be really beautiful. For an expample, this girl on the picture!

I have friend that has naturally curly hair, but she allways straightens it - I'm trying to make her show off her nice curls!

I have hear that taking a curl-permanent (or whatever kind of permanent), damadges your hair alot. I would like to have big curls, so my hair gets more volum! But if it damadges alot, I surly should keep myself away from trying! (My hair has never been so bad, as it's now!)

Bikini/swimsuits from Victoria Secret

I'm thinking of ordering a bikini from Victoria's Sectret! They have so nice stuff there, it's amazing - specially the bikinis and swimsuits. I love their designs, it's not like buying one from H&M and seeing someone wearing the same as you at the beach!

Do you know about other websites, that sell special & pretty bikinis/swimsuits?

I really want to get a swimsuit sometime. They can look really nice and sexy, but have their negative sights too - You can't really tan in it, without getting the horrible white-vs.-brown skin lines. However, I think it looks more flattering on a skinny tummy, then it would on mine! So I guess that's why I have never got one.

What do you think about swimsuits? Do you know any tricks to hide your tummy from looking like pregnant?

MAC eyeshadow for green eyes

At the airport in Oslo, on my way to Germany, I had to stop and take a look at the MAC products in the taxfree! I talked to this nice makeup artist, that helped me find the products I was searching for.

I have eyes that look like a mix between green-blue and gray, so I never really know what colour I should choose. (However, I have found out that brown and gold are good matches!)

I wanted an eyeshadow for daily basis, but also for parties. She gave me some recomandations, but said Vex was the one she would have gone for.

(Later update with picture using Vex as day/party-makeup)

Vex is an eyeshadow-colour in beige that is great for green eyes, because it has pink and green pearls that makes your eyes even more outstanding! Wearing Vex under other eyeshadows can look really good, because it has this special frosty-shimmer to it.

Sadly, the Vex is only a limited edition! So if you really like this colour, I recommand you to get two or more of it ;-)

Update from Germany trip

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't replied you comments, but I have been busy the last days.

On sunday I came home from my stay in Germany, I had a lovely time there! It's sad being home again, I want to go back right away!

I have bought some makeup and cosmetics from MAC and The Body Shop, that I will try and write about it later. I have to pack my bags out first!
Matthias helped me find lots coconut-creams, as Matthias and Oliver knows I love the smell of it! I also got the mascara from Helena Rubenstein with the leopard patter!

Some of the stuff I got from MAC:
Eyeshadows, fluidline in Blacktrack, brush cleanser + a brush

The Body Shop products:
Eyeshadow, blending brush, hair cure, hair serum, showergel + lipgloss

As I love Germany so much, I'm thinking of going there as an Au Pair after my summerholiday!! If you know someone who seeks for an Ai Pair around Stuttgart/Boeblingen/Sindelfingen, please let me know! I have already heard from three familys who are interested, so I think this will be a great experience!

Tips; Vaseline can be used for so many different ways

Vaseline is known as a cheap alternativ for lipgloss. However, Vaseline can be used in many different ways! I have 5 tips for you, some I haven't tried yet, and some I have tried and experiensed working for me.

1. Longer, thicker and shinier eyelashes!

Once for a while ago, I got a tip from my friend. She told me to use Vaseline on my eyelashes when I went to bed, this would make my lashes longer and thicker - and it works, or at least they feel better! I don't normally do this everyday, but when my eyelashes feel dry and look ugly, Vaseline makes them more shinier and thicker!
.. But remember, Vaseline is very sticky - so i recommand you to only use it at night before you have your beauty sleep.

2. Eyegloss

Apply a very small amount of Vaseline on your eyelids. It can also be used as a highlight for a glossy look.

3. Helps against shoes making blisters

I have also heard someone say that Vaseline can help against shoes hurting your feet! I have never tried this before, but will deffently give it a try the next time I'm going out in my high heels.
Put some (not to much, as it's very sticky) Vaseline on your feet where your shoes rub. It protects your feet from rubbing against the shoe and provides blisters!

4. Moisturizing for your face + body

If you have problems with very dry skin, you can apply some Vaseline on the dry places in your face or body, leaving your skin beautiful and dewy complexion. This is a good alternative, but it may make your faceskin look oily!

5. Protects your skin when you dye your hair

Put a thin layer with Vaseline on your forhead, side of neck and etc.. This provides your skin from get stained. This is a great tip that really works, I used to do this a lot when I dyed my hair at home.

Highlighter; Benefit, Moon Beam

As I told you, I really want the highlighter called High Beam. While searching around at BenefitCosmetics, I came over this beautiful golden pink liquid highlighter, called Moon Beam! Now I really want this highlighet too.

The difference between High Beam and Moon Beam, is that High Beam is a cold pink coloured highlighter, while Moon Beam is a warmer coloured highlighter with smal golden-glitter in it.

Marc Jacobs have designed lots of nice bags this season! But I must say, some of them are just not my style!

These are the handbags I liked the most. I love the peachy-pink coloured handbag, really pretty wearing at day- and nighttime.

I'm not sure about the prices for Marc Jacobs products, but I think some of the stuff isn't so expensive. Or at least, I hope so..

MAKEUP; The Marilyn Monroe look

The Marilyn Monroe look is classy, elegant and sexy!

All you really need for this look is a red lipstick, black liquid liner (or whatever eyeliner you like) and a mascara that gives lengthning!

My friend, Veronica, who studies Media, asked me for some weeks ago if I could be her model for her photography project as Marilyn Monroe.

Hairstyle; Whitney Port and how to make your own hair-ribbon

I must say I like this girl's hairstyles! It's trendy, sophisticated, natural and pretty. These hairstyles are acctually really similar to my own hairstyle.

1.The first picture is really easy to make! All you need is to straighten your hair with a hairstraightner, pull your fringe backwards with some mouseè in your hand and pull your fingers trew your hair with some serum. ( I normally use Bed Head - Girl Toy or Biosilk)

2. On the second picture she has separted her hair on the middle of the head and curled all of her hair. To make your fringe look like Whitney's, you take a small piece of hair and twist it around and bobbypin it backwards! Spray a shinespray over all the hair, this will make your hair shine like a diamond! ( I use Bedhead - Shinehead) Then hairspray your curls with a hairspray that makes your curls last longer then 5 minutes. I highly reccomand you one from Lorèal!

There is probelly more different ways on how you can make these hairstyles, I just tell you how I do mine. Hope I helped you!

I think closer to the summer, I will try out the hairstyle were she is wearing flowers all around her curly hair. Maybe not so dramatic as her, but maybe a ribbon with some flowers or butterflies.

How to make your own hair ribbon
If you want to make your own headband, you can just buy a silk-ribbon and some small plastic flowers and glue them on. Then tie the ribbon behind your neck, or maybe even tie it infront of your head. I think that would look really cute and nobody will have same!

I have been trying to find a red lipstick for partytimes, and I found this gorgeous lipstick from YSL.

This lipstick looks so great, I love the black & red-design. The colour of the lipstick is called #15 Red Sin and is from the collection Rouge Personnel.

It's a moisturizing lipstick, which is good - as dry redlips wouldn't look so pretty. It also protects the lips from damaging effect of free radicals!

I think I will check it more out at the taxfree, when I go to Germany in my winterholiday. Just so I can check if the colour fits my skin and then maybe buy it or order it!

People wearing blush look more healthy with some colour in their face. Without blush you may look ill, because there is no colour in your faceskin.
So, what kind of blush should you use? How do you find your perfect blush colour?

One of the ways to apply the blush

Normally you apply the blush on your cheekbons, but you can also apply it gently with a brush on your forehead and nose to add some more colour to your face.

There are many different types of blushes;

mousèe
powder
cream
liquid
gel

The correct colour of blush, is the cheeks color. You can also select the blush colour according to the lip and eye colour. One can use blush in different colours like warm hues, peaches and beiges, and one can use blush in pinks and red colours.
However, I think everyone can use all the colours - you just have to find the right tone of colour.

There are so many colours in different tones out there! You can choose between pink, peach, beige and reds.

Powder blush is perfect for oily and greasy skin, as it doesn't make the skin shine so much as the liquid blusher. For dry skin you can use cream blusher, this is more moisturized and doesn't dry the skin out more.

I want this highlighter so bad! The pink colour is super cute and would look so good on the checks and underneeth the eyebrows. I borrowed it once with my sister, and I though it looked really pretty on. It highlighted good, and gave a nice glow that would fit a natural look as good as a night time look.

I have been in love with UGG's since the first time I saw them on the street. I started off buying some fake ones, I thought the real UGG's were allmost the same. Well, they look the same, only without the UGG label on the heel.

The heel of the fake ones got quick damaged, and I thought I would never buy real UGG's for a such high price, and the thought of the heel breaking so fast did not make me think it was worth it. (So I didn't buy any real UGG's before this autmn,as I found a website were they sold UGG's for half the price from the shop!)

The quality is absoloutly different!! The shoe is really warm, because of the sheepskin and doesn't make you feet feel cold even in snow! I have been using my boots allmost everyday, but now they just broke :-( So I think I will send an email to the company, were I bought my UGG's from, to let them know that this isn't good! And hopefully they will fix them or give me a new par (it's allowed to dream you know).

Even though my first pair off UGG's broke, I'm abosolutly going to buy a new pair again! I found some pairs on sale and I like all of them!

Who could say "no thanks" for a present from Tiffany & co? I deffently couldn't!

If you haven't heard about Tiffany & co, I can tell you that I didn't hear about them eigther before I acctually got a necklace from my sister for my birthday some years ago! The necklace was packed in a cyan bag that looked really elegant. Inside the bag there was a small box with a white ribbon around it, and inside the box there was a cute little fabric clothed bag with the necklace inside. All of the packaging had TIFFANY & CO written on, very pretty!

I have been wanting one for a while now, just because I find it cool having your favorite bands on your tshirt and also because I really like wearing t-shirts - even though I don't have so many of them.

If/or when I get one, I think it will be a print of Oasis, The Kooks or The Killers - as these are the bands I allways come back to, I never get bored of their music!

My new beloved camera

I have just bought this loooovely camera! I'm so in love with it! I bought it last summer when I went to Golden Sands in Bulgaria with my friend, Veronica, and we were using it all the time at the beach. It's waterproof so it's perfect for the summer! I unfortantly lost it the last night out :-( All the great pictures we had been taking of people we met, parties at the discos, the beach ++. I have missed this camera so much, probelly because of all the memories I have with it. Even though it's not the same camera, it makes me feel happy! :-) So today I'm happy happy! Hehe.

Don't you find it quite ennoying bringing your big bottles with shampoo, conditioner and creams in your bag when your only going away for maybe a weekend, or you maybe need space in your bag or you want to fill your suitcase with clothes instead of your normal beautiproducts?

I want to reccomand you a hair shampoo I have been using for a while on my dry hair. I have almost used up my hole bottle of Kerastase Bain Satin 2, and I must say it makes my hair feel soft! It also makes the hair look shiny without weighing my hair down.

Kerastase Bain Satin is the winner of the 2007 Instyle Best Beauty Buy For Dry Hair! There are three different types;

Kerastase Bain Satin 1 - Normal to slightly dry hair
Kerastase Bain Satin 2 - Dry and sensetive hair
Kerastase Barin Satin 3 - Dry, damage and very chemical treatet hair

You might want to use it with Kerastase Lait Vital Proteine, which is the conditioner. I haven't tried it, so I can't tell if it's good or not. But it's supposed to give your normal to dry hair complete gluco-active nutrition. It also contains nourishing ingredients that will treat and enrich your hair without weighing it down.

Anyway, for christmas I got a giftcard at the Shoppingcenter of my boss, so I though I have a look for some jeans. I have been using Telescopic from L'oreal, it's really good for lengthning! But I find it a little hard applying it on with the brush, it takes time! And now my mascara was empty, so I thought I get Maybelline the Colossal - volum express. The brush looked good, and the box looked kindof cool too! I haven't really heard about it before, only seen some pictures on some peoples blogs.
So is the Colossal mascara from Maybelline good?

I want to go a step longer than Depend Nailpolishes, and try out acryl- or gel- nails.

I have never tried acryl or gel on my nails before, but I find it very pretty! I think it's the gel that gives me the effect I'm wanting on my nails. I want my nail to look like glass. I'm not sure if you understand what I mean, it's hard to explain!

Cleansing makeup brushes - Find products at home, instead of buying expensive cleansers

Keep your face clean and healthy by washing your makeup brushes! It keeps your face from dirt and bacterias. There are many products you can use to clean your makeup brushes, and you can actually find them in your home!

Facial cleanser -it removes dirt and makeup from your face, so why shouldn't it remove the makeup from your brush?

Hair shampoo -most makeup bristles are made of natural bristles (pony, goat +) using hair shampoo works great on your makeup brushes. For removing oil that gathered from your cosmetics and skin, you might want to use shampoo for oily hair

1. You need a towel, shampoo (you can use facial wash also for extra cleansing) + your brushes that you want to cleans.
2. Wash the brush with water, make sure you don't let the water go inside the brush, that may damage it and make the hairs fallout after time..

(If you choose to not use facial cleans on your brushes, you can jump to step 7.)

3. Put facial cleans on your brush, I'm using my Clinique.
4.Rub the soap back and forward, so the cleans gets into the brush.
5. Wash the brush with water.
6. Squiz the water out of the brush. You will be able to see all the dirt come out of the brush! Yak.

7. Put shampoo on your brush, I'm using my Redken All Soft.
8. Wash the brush with water. (Make sure no water comes inside the brush, it will make the hairs fallout over time!)
9. Squiz the water out, this time it should be clean water comming out of the brush!

10. Rub the brush back and forward on the towel, this will excess the water inside the brush.
11. Lay the brush down on the towel and let it dry.

Tip; Wash your brushes at night, then the brushes have time to dry and they will be clean and dry the next morning for you to use!

Some girls may say that they can never have to many shoes, but I can never have to many dresses! If I find a dress in a shop that I like, I normally buy it right away. I'm not clever putting nice stuff back on the hanger in a shop, I like taking it home with me and that's why I have a own closet for my dresses!

My favorite dress is this purple dress, I bought it in Greece for a schoolproom for about 4 years ago! It's 100%silk, I like my silky dresses! It kind of reminds me of a nighty, but it's so sweet I think!

It's so easy to keep on bidding on nice stuff at Ebay.com. Everything of makeup, hairproducts and clothes is so much cheaper there then in the normal shops, so how can't I bidd on something that's like half the price?

These last months I have spent maybe about 200 dollars at Ebay. For some of you this isn't alot, and some others it's alot. For me it's kind of alot, but all the products and clothes I have got for this price, is totally worth it!

I have been searching around in Ebay.com for a faux fur coat/jacket, and now I think I have found one... or I mean two!

One of them is this lovely coat! It has silk inside it with sweet details of flowers, a nice (probelly warm) hood and a waistbelt that makes your waist look smaller.

From Carroll's - has anybody heard about this mark before?

This faux fur jacket from Sweet Girl is so pretty I think! Love the color of it. The inside looks really sweet too, with small flowerprints. Nice ribbon belt also!

I'm really against fur, that's why I have been searching for faux fur. I believe animals and people are worth the same! How can people kill a inoccent animal for fur?!
